Self-contained studio cottage in Steeple Ashton, Wiltshire.

What a little gem! Jo and Robbie are fantastic hosts and catered for our every need. So welcoming and kind. The Studio is spotlessly clean. It is really well located for a short walk to the village pub and village shop and all the attractions of Wiltshire are easily accessible. Jo made sure our fridge was well stocked and even provided fresh flowers. All the little touches made us feel at home. We are so pleased to have found this place and will definitely book again. Steeple Ashton is a pretty village with friendly, welcoming people. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend.

As a wheelchair user, my first criterion in accommodation was ground floor, which is not always easy to find. I chanced upon The Studio, and I am glad I did. It is a charming and perfectly furnished studio, with a feeling of luxury, and homeliness at the same time. The welcome is indescribable--obviously the proprietor loves what she is doing, and you will find touches here that you can hardly believe. The bed and breakfast aspect is different in that you have a small kitchen and make your own breakfast--meaning you have it exactly when you want it and just as you like it. The delightful surprise is that all the food is brought in for you, including variety and quantity you could never expect--even a welcoming cake, decanters of spirits, wine, cheese, a lovely big bowl of fruit, and best of all, a choice of three delicious home made jams! This has to be a trusting lady, considering how open to abuse such largesse could be, but you get the impression she is just naturally hospitable and you would be loath to abuse such generosity, Nowhere else have I ever felt truly a 'guest' in any accommodation I was paying to stay in. And it is the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in! Although the bathroom was not perfectly laid out to accommodate my disability, I would happily put up with a little difficulty in order to experience again such perfect but unobtrusive hospitality in a perfect picturesque village. Wonderful meals are also available in the near-by local pub, where you will also feel most welcome.

This place is amazing so much more than just a B & B. Located in a lovely rural village with a pub within walking distance and secure parking. The accommodation is self contained and includes a kitchen and bathroom and lounge and bedroom which are divided by a curtain. Bathroom was like a 5 star hotel with fluffy towels and bath robes and lots of individual toiletries. Continental or full English breakfast is supplied for you to cook yourself. But it's not just the accommodation that makes this place special it's all the extra touches supplied by the owners such as fresh flowers, home made cake, milk and juice and they even put a bottle of bubbly in the fridge as I'd mentioned when booking that it was our anniversary. I can't wait to go back.
